This summer, we will be leading a Summertime Circle for those who just can't wait for the Open Circle or Advanced Circle to start up again in September! That being said, we most certainly welcome newcomers to the Circle.
The Circle evenings are an opportunity to continue one's practice in a supportive guided atmosphere. Each Circle typically includes a guided meditation and focuses on a particular divination tool. These sessions are interactive and we welcome group input and ideas.
The cost for the Summertime Circle is only $10 including GST. We would also appreciate your voluntary donation (cash or tinned goods) to our collection box for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. I'm pleased to say that our donation bins are filling up quite nicely! Donations of over $20 (cash or cheque) will receive a Charitable Receipt from the Food Bank.
Open Circle Members: Collect a loyalty stamp for this event. Once you have attended 10 sessions, your next Open or Advanced Circle is free!
Non-Members: If you haven't already done so, inquire about our Membership Program at your next Circle. You'll get a free session for every 10 attended, plus member discounts on books and events. LOCATION: If the weather is good, the Summertime Circle will be held at Trout Lake (John Hendry Park), a couple of blocks east of our Commercial Drive office. We will meet by the Concession Stand at the south end of the park (by the beach). If driving, there is plenty of parking available; enter from E. 19th Avenue. The Circle location will be within walking / viewing distance. We will likely be using the picnic tables but - just in case - bring a blanket or folding chair, i.e. something comfortable to sit on. We'll have an ice-packed cooler to keep your beverages cool.
RAIN LOCATION: If it's raining, we'll meet at our usual location, # 12 - 2910 Commercial Drive. If the location is switched, we'll send out a note through Meetup.com and EventBrite but do check in with us if you're not sure (call Della at 778.893.2433).
Vibrant Group and Inner Journey Outfitters is committed to supporting our community, in particular the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. We are currently accepting donations in kind (non-perishable tinned goods) and cash at all our events. The Greater Vancouver Foods Bank will provide a Charitable Tax Receipt for donations of $20 or more.
